Bulletstorm is ‘The Worst Game Ever’ volgens FoxNews

Kregen wij na het spelen van de demo van Bulletstorm nog zin om de volledige game te spelen, is het volgens het altijd goede nieuwsbron (ahum..) FoxNews ‘The Worst Game Ever’. Wat de reden is dat zij dit zeggen? Je kan namelijk mensen in hun kruis schieten.

Ja, dat staat er echt, ze noemen het het echte slechtste spel ooit gemaakt omdat je mensen in hun kruis kan schieten. In het artikel van FoxNews zeggen zij het volgende:

“In the new video game Bulletstorm due February 22, players are rewarded for shooting enemies in the private parts (such as the buttocks). There’s an excess of profanity, of course, including frequent use of F-words. And Bulletstorm is particularly gruesome, with body parts that explode all over the screen.

But that’s not the worst part.

The in-game awards system, called Skill Shots, ties the ugly, graphic violence into explicit sex acts: ‘topless’ means cutting a player in half, while a ‘gang bang’ means killing multiple enemies. And with kids as young as 9 playing such games, the experts [that] FoxNews.com spoke with were nearly universally worried that video game violence may be reaching a fever pitch.”

Oftewel, de game is slecht voor kinderen van negen jaar oud, dat is begrijpelijk, daarom is de game alleen te koop voor mensen van achttien jaar en ouder. Maar dat vergeet FoxNews waarschijnlijk. Het lijkt erop dat EA dit commentaar totaal niet erg vindt, want negatieve publiciteit is nog steeds publiciteit. Waarschijnlijk heeft FoxNews met dit onzinbericht dus de verkopen van ‘The Worst Game Ever’ geholpen.
