Brievenmaandag over Telltale Games en Forza Horizon 4

De Tokyo week is helaas voorbij, en dus gaat het dagelijkse leven weer verder bij Gamekings. Heb je door alle drukte toch nog deze unieke items gemist? Telltale Games gaat sluiten!?!

Ander schokkend nieuws kwam dit weekend uit over de grote studio achter The Walking Dead, Batman en The Wolf Among Us. Telltale Games gaat zijn deuren sluiten. Vrijdag kwam Telltale Games met het volgende statement:
“Today Telltale Games made the difficult decision to begin a majority studio closure following a year marked by insurmountable challenges. A majority of the company’s employees were dismissed earlier this morning, with a small group of 25 employees staying on to fulfill the company’s obligations to its board and partners. CEO Pete Hawley issued the following statement:
“It’s been an incredibly difficult year for Telltale as we worked to set the company on a new course. Unfortunately, we ran out of time trying to get there. We released some of our best content this year and received a tremendous amount of positive feedback, but ultimately, that did not translate to sales. With a heavy heart, we watch our friends leave today to spread our brand of storytelling across the games industry.”

Telltale will issue further comments regarding its product portfolio in the coming weeks.” 

Forza Horizon 4 de hype waard?

Dit jaar komt Microsoft Studios keihard aan met een vervolg van Forza. In Forza Horizon 4 kan je door elk type weer over verscheidene wegen racen. Deze week is er een brief gekomen over een poll van Game Informer waaruit blijkt dat mensen minder hyped zijn voor het kindje van Microsoft. Zelfs Fist of the North Star, een PS4 exclusive die redelijk obscuur is, heeft meer hype dan de nieuwste Forza Horizon game. Dit is voor sommigen onder ons best schokkend. Wat vinden jullie hiervan? Is Forza voor jullie ‘de’ racegame van dit najaar?
