Square Enix heeft geen plannen voor Final Fantasy XIII DLC.

Tegenwoordig brengt bijna elke developer en zijn moeder downloadable content uit voor hun games.

Square Enix daarentegen heeft geen plannen om DLC uit te brengen voor Final Fantasy XIII.

Producer Yoshinori Kitase had daar het volgende over te vertellen:

“In regard to the rumored cut content, we feel it was taken out of context,” the pair continues. “There are a lot of ideas that are brought to the table, and then the team takes the best ideas out of those, and the final product is polished that way.”

Er zijn dus wel wat dingen geschrapt voor de uiteindelijke versie, dit wil alleen niet zeggen dat die ooit speelbaar zullen zijn.

They didn’t make the final cut and are not in the game, the team is not looking into releasing this unused content as DLC.

Vooralsnog dus geen extra content, alleen is DLC tegenwoordig bijna niet meer weg te denken bij games, dus de kans is er nog steeds.

Zal Square Enix zich bij deze statements houden of zal er toch wel DLC uitgebracht worden?
