Microsoft: ‘Alle first-party games werken met Kinect’

Microsoft heeft bekendgemaakt dat ze zich erop richten om voortaan alle first-party games zoals Halo en Gears of War te laten werken met Kinect. Hier gaat het dan niet altijd om het bewegen met je lichaam, maar kan ook duiden op de voice-chat mogelijkheden zoals ze hebben laten zien met Mass Effect 3. Phill Specer zei het volgende:

“It’s not a mandate that everything we do in first-party has to support Kinect right now,” zei Spencer. “But I will say, specifically with voice, that there are some things that just seem to make navigating and playing games so much easier, that I would guess the answer will be yes in the end, that you’ll see all first-party games using some form of Kinect functionality.”
